Bangladesh was the last country granted test status on the 10th of November 2000. Zimbabwe gained test status on the 18th of October 1992, they currently have a suspended test status until 2007. There is a February tour of Sri Lanka tentatively scheduled for February of 2007 between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
Technically Zimbabwe have not lost their test status, it is merely suspended, so Bangladesh will remain the last side to be granted test status. Kenya, Scotland and Ireland are the main contenders for future test status.
