Yes, there are possibiliites for saqlain to bowl in tandem with danish. remember the south african symcox he was playing cricket till 43. Spinners have more agility and stamina and still he would have a chance if he proves his fitness and perfomrs in the domestic cricket matches in pakistan.

I seriously doubt it. He has had injury problems in last few years. And his form hasn't been the same since then. Just compare his last international matches to his past record. Besides he has stiff competition from Danish Kaneria who is doing reasonably well in test matches. As for ODIs, Saqlain doesn't fit into the scheme of Pakistani team. As Pakistani selectors have always shown faith in young talent. So once you are out of the Pakistani team for long it's hard to come back.

I wish that he should play.

but this is very highly unlikely now.

He has some very serious fitness issues, and is out of news for a long time now.

He would have been a prospective future captain of pakistan, looking at his field placing and knowledge of the game and batting abilities.

Since cricket is the game of come backs, he may well come back in the team after some absence.

He invented doosra which all spinners use it today.

He is being blamed for over using his doosra which allowed batsmen to read him and score runs more easily against him.

If the pcb wont back him , he is more likely not to play more for pakistan.

Possibly. His injury worries have kept him out since 2004 but his record especially in one day internationals is better than Danish Kaneria. However, he is under 30 and spinners often bowl better after they turn thirty as they become more experienced.
