definitely the Aussies considering the poor form England is in having lost the series to India

Australia. For a lot of reasons.
1) Ricky Ponting is a shrewd individual. He is hellbent upon making sure that Englad suffer.
2) The entire Ashes sounds no different than the "one-time-i-got-lucky" beating that South Africa handed to Australia in the One-Dayers.
3) English side is riddled with injuries right now and even though i have implied that England got lucky, i do beleive that Michael Vaughan did use his brain for a change. But he is injured and i really don't see any other member of the squad filling in his shoes.
4) Rough year and hype. England have had a horrible time in the subcontinent, and they would remember these 6 months. Altough they were a better side against India at the Test level, look at the way they are being pommelled in the One-dayers. Even though it is a different ball game, but once again the Englad leave the subcontinent being manhandled. Their mindsets are gonna be sad. The only thing that can revive them now is if they beat Pakistan at their home turf following into the Ashes. This again is not quite possible as the Pakistani bowlers would exploit the english conditions better.

obviously the Aussies would be the favourites playin' on their home grounds...but i wish ENGLAND wins it! if anything.,it would only be better for the game...ppl are really tired of oze's ruling the game!
