V.V.S. Laxman is truly a classical player...He can bat on any pitch...Today's 100 was absolutely a breathtaking one...India were 8-1 and he reached India to a glorious start....His shots were exquisive and his timing was awsome...

i dont want to be the only one disagreeing hear but i am a bit dissapointed with him, it was a really good innings with some great shots but i think he lost his head a bit when he got out, his team needed him and tendulker to stay there for them til the end of the day, now hes out i can see India (unfortunately) collapsing and yet another easy win for Australia, which is way past boring nowadays

Yes definately he should be appreciated on his performance. It is first century of the tour by an indian cricketer. But he should have played more as he can put pressure on aussie. He has done this in the past
